Level 2 – NGS compares the DNA to a library of over 50,000 microbial species.

• Compares the DNA to a library of over 50,000 microbial species. This includes the following 3 common bacterial STIs: Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma genitalium, & Neisseria gonorrhoeae (at a higher detection level than PCR).

* New York orders will only run qPCR for gene resistance followed by NGS, which compares the DNA to a library of over 50,000 microbial species.

If you select that you would like STI testing we will also run a discrete test using PCR that checks for:
